Konya Metropolitan Municipality is committed to making its Open Data Portal accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement was last updated on 19.08.2026.

Conformance status

The portal is partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard.

Accessibility measures

• Pages are structured with semantic HTML headings.
• Alternative text is provided for images.
• The site can be navigated by keyboard; links show a visible focus state.
• Sufficient colour contrast is maintained between text and background.
• Pages adapt to different screen sizes.
• Data is published in machine-readable open formats and through an API.

Known limitations

The following content is not yet fully accessible:

• Some PDF and office documents uploaded by public bodies may be untagged. Machine-readable alternatives (CSV, JSON) are offered on the dataset pages.
• Map and chart previews are rendered by third-party components whose accessibility may be limited. The same data is available as a table view and through the API.
• Descriptions of some older datasets may be brief.
